Make sure that you’re in this for the love of the craft and for the music, and not for the money and the fame. After that, the rest will fall into place if you give it time, care, and most of all, practice. But the most important thing to remember is to always “do you.”

What got you interested in DJ'ing?

I’ve been into music since I was a kid, but the first thing that really got me interested in DJing was listening to the live radio broadcasts from the After Midnight nightclub in Philly, where DJ Jeff Mills would be spinning. It was awe inspiring listening to not just what he was playing but how he was playing it. I got my first set of turntables while in high school, started DJing at basement house parties, and the rest is history.
