All Level One classes are subject to change or cancellation by Scratch DJ Academy. In the event that a course must be cancelled by Scratch, all students in that course are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations by the student after the start of the current term are subject to a $50 cancellation fee as well as a $75 charge (per class attended). No refunds will be given after the 3rd class.
The Part Time Program is non-refundable.
Part Time students are allowed one term off during their certification track. However if a student takes more than one class term off, then a $500 reinstatement fee will be incurred and a mandatory evaluation of student to assess the correct level class upon re-entry. Students may have to retake a class at an additional fee.
The Accelerated Program is non-refundable.
The Accelerated Program meets twice weekly (vs. once in the Part Time Program) for a period of 32 weeks. Due to the intensive nature of this course, there are no breaks from class.
We use Affirm to handle payment plans for our Accelerated and Part Time programs only.

Private Lessons are non-refundable. Any student canceling a Private Lesson must do so at least 24-hours in advance. Cancellations within 24-hours of a scheduled lesson are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Private Lessons must be completed within 6 months of purchase.
Upon cancellation of the event by the purchaser, Scratch DJ Academy will retain the 50% deposit as a cancellation fee. If the purchaser chooses to reschedule the event, the purchaser is subject to a 20% non-negotiable fee and has the option to apply the original deposit to any in-house event greater than or equal to the original events cost within six months of the initial event date.
