This DJ course is perfect for any beginner that wants to hit the ground running. Combining our introductory and intermediate mixing courses (Level 1 & Level 2), we cover the basic DJ techniques as well as the intermediate-level mixing and blending skills you’ll need to play live. At the end of this course, you will perform a 10-15 minute set in front of your peers and instructors that will showcase what you’ve learned. Upon completion, you will also have the option to continue with the full part-time program. This class meets twice a week for 6 weeks total.
The Part Time Program is designed for beginner students committed to becoming a working DJ Producer. The Program includes training in a variety of mixing, scratching, and music production techniques.
Curriculum consists of 8 Levels (details below). Part Time Program students meet once a week for an average completion time of 1 year. Class sizes are small and contribute to a collaborative setting. Students keep the same day and time throughout the program to keep scheduling conflicts to a minimum.
Enrollment in the program starts with taking Level 1. If you already have some experience, we are happy to evaluate you and recommend the correct Level for entry into the program. All students completing the program will graduate with certification and a plaque at graduation.
