Nina Vicious

I've been a musician my whole life. I was classically trained from a young age, however I became curious about various styles of performance and became more passionate over time with culture's that were more interactive and engaged the crowd, which I wasn't finding in the classical music world. I found the energy and vibe I was looking for in NYC club culture. As a club kid in the early 2000s, I was captivated by the city’s nightlife scene. From The Rub at Southpaw to Beatminerz parties at Sutra, I had access to unforgettable parties that sparked a deep appreciation for the DJ’s role in shaping those experiences. These were the parties that made me want to try my hand at DJing and why I ultimately became a student at Scratch DJ Academy where my DJ journey began.
