DJ Spectakulah

With over two decades of experience, DJ Spectakulah is a world-class turntablist, producer, and educator recognized for his groundbreaking contributions to DJ culture. His career launched in the late '90s with competitive accolades, including becoming a 1998 New York City DMC Regional Finalist, 1999 Philadelphia DMC Champion, and USA DMC Runner-Up. He was also a member of the 1999 ITF Western Hemisphere Team Champions, competing globally at the ITF World Team Championships. A fierce competitor, he returned to the battle scene to win the 2023 DMC Scratch Finals, place as runner-up at the Hip-Hop 50th Anniversary DJ Battle in Times Square, and take the title of 2024 NAMM Battle Royale Champion, among other recent wins. As a performer, DJ Spectakulah has graced stages worldwide—from touring East Asia with DJ Craze in 2003 to performing at the Latin Grammy Festival, Lincoln Park Music Festival, and Royal Caribbean cruises. He has shared the stage with elite artists such as Pharoahe Monch at Skratch Bastid's BBQ in Toronto. Currently, DJ Spectakulah serves as the curator and recurring DJ on CTRL, ALT, D-stroy on SHADE45 SiriusXM-Pandora, continuing to champion the art of turntablism and inspire a new generation of DJs worldwide.
