Popularized at Chicago's dance club called The Warehouse, "House" music has been touching audiences and dancefloors for nearly 40 years. One of the genre's most identifiable qualities are it's basslines, which are responsible for the underlying groove that accompanies most of House Music's most recognizable songs. In the video below, owner of Afterwave Records, Sean Krames show you how a house bassline is constructed. Please note, although he is using a modular synthesizer set-up, this can be achieved with any synthesizer or DAW.
