Teaching for How Long:
5 Years
Favorite Artist:
This is a tough one, I'm gonna say Notorious B.I.G. with A Tribe Called Quest & 2-Pac a very close 2nd.
Music Genre(s):
Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, Electro, Trap
Gear Specialization:
Turntables, CDJs, Controllers, etc.
Advice for Students:
Don't be afraid to fail. If you fail try again and learn from your previous mistakes.
Favorite Venues:
I tend to work in a lot of different venues. So there isn't really any one or list particular venues that I can say are my "favorite". But I guess if I had to narrow it down I would say High at Hotel Erwin, what's better than DJing during sunset on a rooftop in Venice right next to the Pacific Ocean.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems. Serato Techmate since 2011. DJ/Host State Farm Tent at Coachella 2009 and 2010.

What got you interested in DJ'ing?

I’ve always wanted to be a DJ since I was in high school but I didn’t have any DJ friends. I love how the DJ is truly in control of the party, they can make or break a party/event. My favorite part is trying to figure out what is going to move this crowd, I love the results especially when its something that you aren’t expecting at all.
